“Vogue Book” is a screen printed and bound book using old Vogue Magazine periodicals and newer Vogues. Vogue is the “bible” to many women, it has represented a lifestyle and a showcase of all the latest styles and designers. In these screen printed collages I wanted to explore just how far women have come in society, historical changes, and fashion progression by carefully juxtaposing images, text and pages together to make statements.
The pages were printed on old, aged, torn newsprint and bound with canvas. The book is roughly 22 inches high by 15 inches wide.
